Hello!
I'm Emily Painter, owner of Painter Designs Photography. I've always had a passion for photography and the arts. When I started college in 2004, it was no surprise that I enrolled in the Visual Arts department and started pursuing a degree in Photography and Graphic Design. After taking photography, I shot my first wedding in the summer of 2005. I loved interacting with my clients just as much as I did taking photos and editing them. So, in 2007 I transferred to the University of South Carolina Upstate and obtained a Bachelors degree in Business Management and Communications. In 2013, I completed my Master of Science in Management program at Southern Wesleyan University.
Throughout the years, I've had the opportunity to meet many different people and clients, work as a Marketing Director at a software company, travel, and pursue what I truly love doing - being creative. I have been very blessed with the opportunity to photograph numerous weddings, large events, family portraits, and other special moments, have art juried into state wide exhibits, create commissioned paintings, and have pieces in the South Carolina State Gift Shop.
That's why Painter Designs means so much to me! I'm a wife, twin mama, coffee lover, photographer, graphic designer, crafter, painter, jewelry designer, crocheter, and beach lover. I hope you love my creations as much as I love making them!
